The Municipality of Lajes do Pico reaffirms its commitment to local development by promoting and strengthening the organizations that contribute to the municipality’s social, cultural, and sporting vitality.

In keeping with its ongoing commitment to supporting local associations, the Lajes do Pico Town Council has entered into a Program Contract with the MiratecArts Association, reinforcing financial cooperation and support between the parties. This agreement specifically ensures continued assistance for the Association’s work in environmental conservation and the promotion of local tourism through the organization of the Azores Birdwatching Arts Festival, the Lavadias Festival, and Música no Forte.

The signing ceremony took place at Town Hall, where Mayor Ana Brum welcomed MiratecArts representative Terry Costa, formally securing this essential support for the Association’s continued projects. Together, we are working for the future of Lajes do Pico!
