He is the founder of “Regional Imperial” and “Batuqueiros e sua Gente”. He does solid work alongside Brazilian singer Nani Medeiros, with whom he has toured extensively around the world. João Pita returns to Cordas to accompany instrumentalist Marta Pereira da Costa, and also to promote the Tenor Guitar project with Fernando Dalcin at the Madalena Auditorium.

Fernando Dalcin is a soloist on mandolin, cavaquinho, and tenor guitar and has recorded two albums, “Número Um” and “Jacob do Bandolim Outras Composições”. He has taught mandolin at the festivals: the 4th Notte Di A Mandulina in Corsica and the 46th CIVEBRA – International Summer Course in Brasilia. To enhance the culture of one of the most curious chordophones in Brazilian popular music, Fernando Dalcin is making his debut at the Cordas Festival with the show “A Guitarra Tenor – 100 Anos De História” (The Tenor Guitar – 100 Years of History).
