Maria Carolina, born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, practices clinical psychology. In July 2018, she decided to let a long-held dream come true. She bought a piano and, in an almost self-taught way, embarked on a private, introspective journey of lyrical and musical exploration, which led her to compose and perform numerous songs. In 2020, she gave her first concert at the Tremor Festival, followed by Sofá do Estúdio, Estúdio 3, União Audiovisual dos Açores, and Azorean Music Experience, among others. Her triple album “metAMORfose, conhecer o amor através da luz colorida” was released in January 2022 and presented at Teatro Ribeiragrandense, followed by Prismas de Sons, Igreja do Convento de Santo António, Lagoa, and Lava Jazz, in Ponta Delgada. He participated for the first time with MiratecArts in 2023.
