In collaboration with Letras Lavadas in Ponta Delgada, Azores, the first book from a poet of a Portuguese Speaking Country in Africa was published by Bruma Publications. The presentation was done in Cidade da Praia, the capital of Cabo Verde, during the VI International Poetry Festival of the Macaronésia (a region composed of the Azores, Madeira, Cabo Verde, and the Canary Islands).

The collection Between Words was published this month and introduced to the public in Vera Duartes’ homeland. In the USA, you can order the book directly from PBBI-Fresno State. In the Azores, you can buy it at Letras Lavadas, and it can be ordered directly online from them and shipped anywhere in Portugal and throughout Europe.
