The AngraJazz festival concerts at the Angra do Heroísmo Cultural and Congress Center are scheduled for October 4, 6, and 7. Still, since last Friday and for nine days, These are free concerts in cafés and public spaces in the city.
The main aim is “to get jazz off its natural stage and into the city,” according to the Angrajazz Cultural Association, which is organizing the initiative.

“The aim is for the city to experience its festival in an intense way and for even those who don’t go to the cultural center to experience jazz. The aim is for both locals and tourists to be surprised by the jazz ‘just around the corner’,” he said in a press release.
“Angrajazz and Jazz na Rua complement each other perfectly, maximizing their joint impact and optimizing production costs,” he said.
